James Wolf - President/Chief Scientist

James Wolf has developed and pioneered the introduction of technology over the last 30 years in several industries including medical, industrial instrumentation and computer applications.  He  is an engineer, scientist and entrepreneur. He has a combination of technical and scientific expertise combined with business and marketing experience.  He has founded several companies to introduce new technology to the marketplace and has successfully raised capital through private sources, research organizations and public markets. With his extensive technical background he as been able synthesize solutions requiring a variety of technology to create a successful product.  Jim holds the following certificates:  PE State of Colorado, MSEE Computer Science, Colorado University, BSEE Electronics, Washington University (St. Louis).

Tom Walker - Vice President/Chief Mechanical Engineer

Tom has over twelve years of experience in start-up and new product development covering a broad range of fields from advanced batteries to miniature medical devices.  Holding several patents related to Thin Metal Film lead-acid battery technology, Tom spent five years with Bolder Technologies bringing a brand new advanced battery technology to production readiness.  Other device designs have included the mechanical components and packaging for a low-cost ultrasonic fluid flow meter, components for dialysis machines, powdered drug delivery and monitoring devices, and household consumer goods.  On the manufacturing side Tom has also worked with the airbag industry and medical device industry in manufacturing line optimization and automated equipment design and development.  Tom is a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering.

Franz Huber – Vice President Software Development 

Franz Huber has worked in computer science and software product development over the last 30 years. He has developed numerous software products and assisted in bringing them to market. He has expertise with old computer languages as well as the new object oriented environments such as Microsoft .Net and Java. Among the computer applications he developed are biomedical applications, embedded software, business applications, software migration tools, and tools for Y2K remediation.  In the last few years he has developed internet based, GUI driven database applications for the care or the disabled and elderly. Franz holds a Ph.D degree in Physics from the University of Vienna, Austria. He taught electrical engineering and computer science classes at the University of Colorado and conducted research in computer linguistics and biomedical applications.


Robert N. Caruso  - Vice President Business Development

 Bob has extensive corporate business development experience.  Bob was former V.P./GM of Applied Science & Technology which developed and manufactured medical equipment for diagnostic imaging and plasma sterilization systems.  He also was an officer and V.P. of Marketing and Business Development in the Allied Technologies Group of Adolph Coors Company. Bob is Chairman of the Board of Advisors at NASA’s Space Technologies Commercialization Center for Life Sciences.  Also, he is a National Assoc. of Securities Dealers (NASD) Registered Representative, Series 7 Licensed.

Robert Welch, Ph. D.  - Senior Scientist

Cognitive systems expert. Dr. Welch holds a Ph D in Economics with concentration in Mathematical Economics and Statistics and has done extensive  research and development in Cognitive and learning systems.
