Many development projects are postponed or even cancelled when companies cannot allocate appropriate technological resources. Some projects require a full time commitment while others demand only part time focus, yet many companies simply don’t have or cannot locate the right people to do the work.
At the same time, there is an untapped network of talented, experienced technologists who have the desire to undertake work that challenges their abilities and creativity. They long for an environment in which they can earn a comfortable income, providing real value to the customer, yet pursue their own ideas that bring valuable, new technology to the market place.
The disjointed and seemingly irreconcilable nature of this market place lead Ingenium’s founders to create a company that can identify and quantify the opportunities, and match appropriate, interested resources with the needs of the market. In some cases, this can be as simple and straightforward as arranging a consulting engagement between an Ingenium technologist and the party who needs the work done. It could be as complex as providing an entire product design and development team, conducting extensive product testing, arranging manufacturing and providing a sales and marketing strategy that brings the product to market.
Ingenium is a company with a unique “Hi-Tech” business model that minimizes overhead costs through minimizing facilities and management layers, and applying state of the art administration systems and communications. As much as possible Ingenium operates in a virtual environment either on customer site or its consultant’s location. As necessary, Ingenium can acquire facility space or equipment for projects on a short-term basis.
Ingenium maximizes the consultant’s productivity by removing the “adminis-trivia” from the technologist’s plate, allowing him/her to concentrate on satisfying the client’s needs.
“Time to market” is probably one of the most significant problems companies face in today’s economy. Ingenium recognizes that in today’s workplace many development projects are postponed or even cancelled when companies cannot allocate appropriate technological resources. Some projects require a full time commitment while others demand only part time focus, yet many companies simply don’t have or cannot locate the right people to do the work.
Ingenium has also recognized that companies are migrating away from the burden of permanent fixed overhead and employees, toward project and result oriented employment. We have modeled our business to optimize the solution to these problems.
Ingenium places value on long-term relationships and partnering. We actively seek opportunities that can lead to such long-term relationships such as manufacturing or vested interest in technology.
Ingenium’s founders have extensive experience in developing electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, computer, and software systems. They have founded other companies which have successfully developed products from inception to market in a variety of industries including medical, computer architecture, Information technology, industrial instrumentation, process control and automation, power delivery and video animation to mention a few.
